Austen Peters, Drummer

Austen Peters was the full time drummer for the Salisbury Swing Band from 2008 until 2011.  He has played percussion for 14 years and in 2011 graduated from Catawba College as Music Business Major.  Austen has played with local ensembles such as the Rowan County All-Star Big Band, the Piedmont Wind Symphony and the Ethos Consortium in Charlotte, NC.  Since graduating, Austen’s job has taken him out of the immediate area but he still substitutes for us from time to time.
